Lining up before show

The Art of Being by Elizabeth Emanuel show S/S 2011 was held on the 21st of September during London Fashion Week 2010 at the Il Bottaccio. It was a really cool experience working backstage. The models were amazing they each managed 3-4 dresses changes and ran up and down two flights of stairs during the show!!  Tim Furssedonn from Toni & Guy styled the hair while Lan Nguyen did the make-up. The colour palette for the ready to wear line was black with a dash of creme here and there. 

While some dresses were accentuated with rhinestones and sparkly brooches others were paired up with beautiful embroidered socks or stockings. Lace, net, satin, fringes, ruffles, chiffon, silk – the couture collection was chic and classy providing a feel of high-fashion. The accessories were beautiful too...

my favourite was the black cloth necklace. I want one!
